80s checks
Check boards Was something that drawn my attention. I wanted to jazz up the classic style.
These fabrics were created for an 80s costume.
Relating back to my colour blog, I wanted to use the colour aspects perfectly. I was inspired my Quality Street wrappers for the squares as they are bright, reflective colours and a more subtle, watercolour background for the black squares.
To get these backgrounds I used a printing method called open screen printing.
